On Thursday, October 29, the DCCB Band will present a family-friendly Halloween Concert and Trick-or-Treat Event. The evening will begin with a special Trick-or-Treat with the Band Members from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., giving children the opportunity to meet musicians, collect treats, and enjoy a festive atmosphere. There is also a Beer Garden next door.
We encourage families to:
- Wear their favorite costumes
- Bring folding chairs or blankets
- Pack snacks and enjoy an evening of music and community fun
The concert will feature popular Halloween and family favorites, including music from:
- Moana
- Marvel Heroes
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- Arabesque
- And many other seasonal favorites
This event is especially meaningful to me as the new conductor of the band. As a retired band director from Hillsborough, my first love has always been inspiring children and young musicians through music and fostering a lifelong love of learning. This concert provides a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, celebrate the season, and experience the joy of live music in a welcoming community setting.
