Auckland Castle
Auckland Castle is 11th century marvel and one of the most important historical buildings in UK. The site still retains elements of the Medieval Park including bridges, a fish pond and woodland rides, providing a glimpse of how the Bishops lived, entertained and hunted. For almost 900 years, it has been the palace of the Prince Bishops of Durham.
