Never Give Up 2026

15 February @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
£10 – £30

We are RTMinds, a mental health and suicide prevention charity based at The Open Art Surgery in Durham.

On February 15th, we’re hosting our annual Never Give Up 2026 concert at the beautiful Durham Miners Hall. This powerful concert brings together passionate local musicians and talented Durham University performers who share more than their music.

Some have walked the darkest roads themselves. Some have stood helplessly beside someone they loved. Each of them steps onto the stage with extraordinary bravery; not to dwell on pain, but to transform it into something life‑giving. They perform to speak out, to break silence, and to help others feel less alone.

Alongside the music, motivational speaker Beano will bring his raw honesty and unique ability to connect with the heart. His words remind us what it means to be human, to struggle, to rise, and to keep going.

This is more than a concert. It’s a reminder that hope is real, community is powerful, and no one has to face the darkness alone.

As one past attendee said: “Never Give Up is an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed and cried in equal measure — but I left with hope in my heart.” If you’ve never experienced the strength and joy of this event, this is your chance.

All funds are in support of sustaining RTMinds and the Open Art Surgery Charity (ref no: 1141017)
