Kynren – An Epic Tale of England is the UK’s ‘must see’ spectacular outdoor live action show.
Travel through time and watch legends come to life before your very eyes, in a thrilling tale told on an epic scale – 2,000 years in the making.
The multi-award-winning live action outdoor theatre spectacular is set in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Kynren, nestled at the bottom of the escarpment on which Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland, proudly sits, and takes guests on a spellbinding voyage through history – through the eyes of Arthur, the son of a mining family.
During the afternoon before the evening performance, guests can enjoy exploring the brand new 11Arches Park – the North East’s newest family attraction.
Offering “Epic journeys through time with spectacular shows and immersive attractions in a beautifully landscaped open space”, 11Arches Park looks set to be a must-visit attraction.
Visitors will be able to get close to nature, step back in time and lose themselves in a Viking village, as well as experience immersive and exhilarating live action shows.
Daily schedules will ensure visitors get the most out of the experience and don’t miss any part of the action. The park’s attractions include immersive walkthrough; The Maze of Fame, the Kids’ Viking Lair, the Dancing Waters show, alongside family favourites including the Animal Croft and the Viking Village.
Live music on the Lake will also offer guests the chance to enjoy tasty treats from the new food outlets whilst relaxing in one of the new seated dining experiences before finally taking their seats for ‘Kynren – an epic tale of England’ – one of Trip Advisor’s ‘Top Five Shows to See in the UK.
Kynren performance dates 2021 – every Saturday from the 7 August to the 11 September.
