Three-Day Summer Craft Fair at Brancepeth Castle

Discover a world of creativity at the historic Brancepeth Castle this summer! Around 70 unique craft stalls will showcase stunning handmade creations, ranging from art and jewellery to textiles, pottery, glass, leather, and much more. With indoor and outdoor stalls, you’ll find everything from beautiful and practical pottery to garden plants. Find one-of-a-kind treasures to buy or commission, and don’t miss the chance to try your hand at a craft workshop led by talented makers.

Enjoy exciting extras, including:

  • ‘Outlaws and Vagabonds’ historical reenactment
  • Brancepeth Archives room, which will be open for visitors
  • The Castle chapel, available for quiet prayer
  • A dedicated family area for visitors of all ages

Indulge your taste buds with delicious home-cooked food and cakes, served in the castle’s cosy cafes by the castle owners. With free parking and a complimentary catalogue of exhibitors, it’s the perfect day out for the whole family.

    • Saturday 26 July 2025: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
    • Sunday 27 July 2025: 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm
  • Admission:
    • Peak time (first hour each day): £5.50 (£5 Age 66+)
    • All other times: £4.50 (£4 Age 66+)
    • Accompanied under 14s: Free
